Iran to inaugurate two combined cycle plants with 648 MW capacity

In December last, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inaugurated the second phase of the largest combined cycle power plant in the Middle East in the northern Iranian city of Pakdasht.Six steam units of Shohada-ye Pakdasht (Pakdasht Martyrs) plant, built with an investment of over two billion euros, were inaugurated by the Iranian president.All the equipment of the Pakdasht plant’s steam units including turbines, generators and boilers have been made by Iranian experts, and the plant has 12 gas and six steam units.
